Listening to you talk about relationships and thought I’d share my experience… My husband and I came from totally different backgrounds: he was one of two, I have 7 siblings; he grew up on a farm, I visited a farm once; he was quiet and somewhat shy, let’s just say I was not known for being either; he was Lutheran, I was Catholic. We were great friends at 17 and married a few years later. We agreed on the big things: love of the Lord, love of family, love and respect for each other. Everything else consists of just details. Don’t sweat the small stuff…if the big stuff is truly important and felt by both of you, the little things fall into place after being put in their proper place…behind the important stuff! Have a great day
